Overview
This guide explains how to configure Lockers on the Integriti system. Locker Banks allow you to manage electronic locker access using card readers, with real-time allocation status displayed in the software.
There are three Allocation Modes for Locker Banks:
| Mode | Normally | Reader Type | Allocation | Live Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dynamic – Unlimited | Unlocked | Reader per Locker | Unlimited per bank | Yes |
| Dynamic – 1 Per User (per bank) | Unlocked | Reader per Locker | 1 locker per user per bank | Yes |
| Pre-Assigned | Locked | Reader per Bank or per Locker | Per-user assignment only | No |
Limits: 1000 Lockers per Controller, 10 Locker Banks per Controller. Licensing: Locker Count Licence (Part #996235) — 1 licence = 10 Lockers.
Prerequisites
- Integriti Pro Software Version 16 or later.
- ISC/IAC Controller Firmware Version 16 or later.
- Integriti/Concept Door Controllers (ILAM or SLAM modules).
- SIFER readers (or compatible readers) assigned to each locker or bank.
- UniBus 8-Relay Auxiliary Expanders (one auxiliary per locker).
- Smart Card Locker Licence (Part #996235).
Step-by-Step
Dynamic – Unlimited Mode (10 Lockers, Individual Readers)
- Configure the ILAM readers for SIFER and assign the correct serial numbers. Leave the Reader Purpose as Control Door — this will be changed later.
- Navigate to Access Control → Locker Banks.
- Click Add New and name the Locker Bank.
- Leave the Allocation Mode as Dynamic – Unlimited.
- Click Save, then click Bulk Create Lockers.
- Select the Start Auxiliary (e.g.
C01:X01). - Set How Many to the number of lockers (e.g. 10).
- Select the ILAM module from the drop-down.
- Enable Re-purpose existing reader’s option.
- Click Create Lockers.
- Verify that the first 10 readers on the ILAM now have a purpose of Access Locker / Locker Bank and each reader has a unique Locker assigned.
- Assign the Locker Bank to the Users’ Permission structure.
Dynamic – 1 Per User Mode (20 Lockers Across 2 Floors)
- Configure both ILAM readers for SIFER and assign correct serial numbers.
- Navigate to Access Control → Locker Banks and click Add New.
- Name the bank (e.g. “Ground Floor Lockers”).
- Change the Allocation Mode to Dynamic – 1 Per User (per bank).
- Click Save, then Bulk Create Lockers.
- Set Start Auxiliary to
C01:X01, How Many to 10. - Select the ground floor ILAM and enable Re-purpose existing reader’s.
- Click Create Lockers.
- Assign the Locker Bank to the Users’ Permission structure.
- Repeat steps 2–9 for the second floor, creating a new Locker Bank (e.g. “First Floor Lockers”) starting at
C01:X11.
Pre-Assigned Mode (10 Lockers, Central Reader)
- Configure the SLAM reader for SIFER and assign the correct serial number. Leave Reader Purpose as Control Door.
- Navigate to Access Control → Locker Banks and click Add New.
- Change the Allocation Mode to Pre-Assigned.
- Set the Unlock Time (e.g. 30 seconds; a value of 0 defaults to 5 seconds).
- Click Save, then Bulk Create Lockers.
- Set Start Auxiliary (e.g.
C01:X01) and How Many to 10. - De-select Assign a reader to each Locker.
- Click Create Lockers.
- Edit the SLAM’s Reader 1: change Reader Purpose to Access Locker / Locker Bank and assign the Pre-Assigned Locker Bank to the reader.
- Assign individual Lockers to Users’ Permission structure (Locker Banks cannot be assigned per-user in this mode).
Verification
- Present a valid user credential at a locker reader.
- Verify the locker unlocks (Dynamic modes) or unlocks timed (Pre-Assigned).
- In the Integriti software, check that the locker shows as assigned to the user (Dynamic modes only — Pre-Assigned does not show live status).
- Check Integriti Review for access granted/denied messages.
- Test Locker Override: use an Override Card (enabled under Menu Group → Access Control Settings) to unlock a dynamically allocated locker.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Resolution |
|---|---|
| Locker does not unlock | Verify the auxiliary is correctly mapped and the UniBus 8-Relay expander is online. |
| User denied at locker (already allocated) | User already has a locker in that bank (Dynamic 1 Per User). Use Locker Override to de-allocate. |
| No live status shown | Pre-Assigned mode does not support live allocation status. Switch to a Dynamic mode. |
| Power failure loses allocations | Dynamic mode allocations reset on controller power loss (lockers remain locked but status is lost). |
| SIFER LED not reflecting locker state | Enable the Reader Feedback option on the SIFER reader — red = locked, green = unlocked. |
Locker Control Commands
Right-click a Locker in the software for these commands:
| Command | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Toggle State | Toggles the locker state and de-allocates the associated user. |
| Unlock | Unlocks the locker and de-allocates the associated user. |
| Lock & Disable | If available, the locker will be locked and disabled. |
| Assign to User | If available, locks and assigns to a user with the bank in their permissions. |
Right-click a Locker Bank for Name Auxiliaries (names auxiliaries according to locker names) or Locker Wizard (re-launches the wizard).
