Wireless Door Integration
Overview
Integriti and Inception support wireless door locking systems from three OEMs: Assa Abloy Aperio, Salto SALLIS, and SimonsVoss. Wireless locks eliminate the need to run reader and lock cabling to each door — the lock communicates wirelessly with an OEM-supplied hub, which connects to the LAN module via RS485.
⚠️ Every wireless lock system requires the OEM’s hub. The hub is the bridge between the wireless locks and the Inner Range system. Locks cannot connect directly to ILAM or SLAM modules.

⚠️ Integriti Only — SLAM wireless door support is Integriti-only. Inception restricts wireless locks to the ILAM.
How It Works
- OEM Hub connects to the ILAM or SLAM RS485 LAN Reader Port via twisted-pair cable.
- Wireless locks are paired to the hub using the OEM’s programming application (e.g. Aperio Programming Application).
- Inner Range system sees each wireless lock as a standard door — configured, monitored, and controlled like any hardwired door.
- The hub handles all wireless communication with the locks; the LAN module treats the hub as a group of readers/doors on its RS485 bus.
Licensing
- V20.0 firmware onwards: Wireless door licenses removed. Locker Banks, Wireless Doors, C-Bus Lighting, and Virtual Modules are all included features. Only standard Integriti Door licenses (996940) are required for the doors themselves.
- Pre-V20: Smart Card wireless door licenses were required per door (Aperio: 996032, SALLIS: 996024, SimonsVoss: 996033). These part numbers are now obsolete.
Aperio (Assa Abloy)
- Hub: Aperio Communication Hub
- ILAM: Up to 8 hubs, 8 locks total
- SLAM (Integriti only): 1 hub, up to 2 locks
- Hub wiring: Daisy-chain on RS485 LAN reader port. DIP Switch 8 ON at each end, OFF for intermediate hubs. Pull-up/pull-down (DIP 6+7) ON once per bus.
- Locks must be paired to hubs via the Aperio Programming Application before Inception/Integriti configuration.

Salto SALLIS
- Hub: Salto SALLIS 8 Door Interface (connects to ILAM/SLAM, NOT an ILAM itself)
- ILAM: Up to 8 locks
- SLAM (Integriti only): 1 hub, up to 2 locks
- SALLIS hub connects to the RS485 LAN Reader Port

SimonsVoss
- Hub: SimonsVoss Gateway/Hub

Configuration Notes
- Reader port trade-off: On SLAM, the single RS485 reader port is shared — connecting a wireless hub means you cannot use SIFER/OSDP readers on that port.
- OEM programming app: All three OEMs require their own programming application to pair locks to hubs and configure lock-level settings (PIN length, battery check interval, offline behaviour) before the Inner Range system can manage them.
- Door Auxiliary reservation: Even though the physical lock isn’t wired to the LAN module, the door auxiliary on the ILAM/SLAM is reserved by the wireless door and cannot be used for other purposes.
