Overview
Integriti V20.0 introduced a major restructuring of the licensing model. The primary focus was simplification — condensing over 75 licenses down to 37 and introducing four software editions (Express, Professional, Business, Corporate) that bundle features previously sold as individual licenses. This guide summarises the changes for sites upgrading to V20.0 and later.
Important: All changes described require Integriti V20.0 or later software and firmware.

Controller Level Licenses Removed
From V20.0 firmware, all controllers support maximum expansion capacity (250 doors, 100,000 users, 3,000 inputs, 100,000 events). No controller level licenses needed.

Upgrades & SMA
New Software — Up to 24 Months of Upgrades
New systems come with upgrades covering the calendar year of purchase and the following year. E.g., purchased in 2020 entitles the system to all V20.x and V21.x releases.
Software Upgrades (Older Sites)
- No backdating — same fee whether 3 or 5 years old.
- No contracts or agreements — a simple upgrade license.
- Allows upgrades for the calendar year of purchase.
Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) — Australia/NZ Only
Includes software upgrades, priority manufacturer support (Victorian business hours), direct end-user support, and options for 1/2/3/5-year terms. Optional 24/7 Support addon.
Note: Upgrade and SMA fees are now sold via distributors (not directly from Inner Range), allowing distributor account payment terms.
Existing Sites — Automatic Upgrades
Level 4 Controller Upgrade
When V20 changes go live, Level 4 licenses are automatically issued to all smart cards, allowing existing sites to expand without controller-level limits.
Automatic Edition Upgrades
Existing Professional systems upgrade to:
- Business if they have: CCTV (Initial 32), Advanced Reports, Web Client Interface, or Active Directory (Operators or Users).
- Corporate if they have: Advanced Alerts, User Qualifications, Guard Tour, or SNMP Health Monitor.
Existing client connections are added to the edition’s included clients. E.g., a system with 3 clients promoted to Business gets 8 total.
